Located at the Mexican southeast, there is the estate of Tabasco. This is the original place where Hernan Cortes got the first cacao plants that he took to Europe. Tabasco principal tourist attraction, is its cacao route in which you cannot miss Nacajuca, town where you will find colourful embroideries in the artisans square and Jalpa and Cupilco, which were towns that served as commercial trading places between Mayas and Aztecs. In Villahermosa, capital city of Tabasco, you will find fine local handcrafts such as embroidered pieces of fabric that native women ware on their traditional suits. These handcrafts consist on eye-catching borders covered with flowers that are usually attached to shirts, skirts, etc. Tabasco also has long beaches with a fine gray sand and low, warm blue water. Out to sea, you can practise fishing and you can capture fish like the pargo, the mojarra, and the jurel, among others. Furthermore ,we have to distinguish the food such the Chipilín and crab Tamalitos, the Oysters, the Chanchamitos, and the exquisite Peje lagarto, the Iguana, the coconut sweets , the meringues, the pozol and many other delicacies. Tabasco is a different place you should see with your own eyes.
