Among the 115 islands of the Seychelles, you will find a luxuriant, tropical paradise of dazzling beaches and crystal-clear waters.In addition to the world famous beaches of Seychelles, there are many other important attractions such as natural reserves, history and culture, out of the ordinary food, curios festivities and the like. An important island is Aride, which is home to breeding seabirds such as Magpie Robins, Fodies, and Brush Warblers. Another interesting place to visit is The Coco Marine National Park, which is set around 3 small islets in shallow turquoise sea by large expanses of coral reefs. Most tourists visit The Curieuse Marine National Park, which is the only “paper park”, left in Seychelles. The Anne Marine National Park has one of the largest areas of sea grass meadows in the granitic islands. Island Bird is colonised by a million sooty terns that each lay their eggs on their own exclusive square foot of territory and is home to ‘Esmeralda’, the world’s heaviest land tortoise The island also has comfortable bungalows, excellent beaches, a reputation for good cuisine and a convivial atmosphere complement great opportunities for snorkelling, deep-sea fishing, and nature watching. Another interesting island is Praslin Island, which was mainly inhabited by the pirates before the French discovered it. The local cuisine reflects Indian, Chinese, French and African influences. The typical preparation involves seafood, lots of spices, rice and coconut. One of the most interesting annual festivities is the National Fishing Competition hold in April. Seychelles a place full of magic.
