The Christ is considered a symbol of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil; and the Sugarloaf Mountain, which is one of the most amusing attractions of the city. Both excursions will let you admire incredible views of Rio. Another important place to visit is the Maracana stadium, which is one of the biggest stadiums of the world. Some traditional dishes are the barbecues, which consist of cuts of all kinds of meat and the Feijoada, which is probably the most traditional Brazilian food including black beans, dyed meat, and chorizo served with white rice and oranges. The most important Brazilian festivity is the carnival, which is one of the most widely visited and well known of the world. The Sambódromo is the place where the great parade is carried out. Brazil is a colourful, cheerful place you have to visit at least once in your lifetime.
