Galapagos Voyager

The formation of the first island took place more than 5 million years ago, a result of volcanic eruptions. The more recent islands Isabela and Fernandina are still in the process of formation. The Galapagos were declared national parks in 1959 and the sea that surround them are marine reserves. It is one of the most fascinating places in the world to snorkel and deep-sea dive. No trip to the Galapagos is complete without snorkelling, swim with the seals that appear amused to find people in the sea with them, or with penguins jumping beside you or sea turtles nosing around you. An extraordinary offer of flora and fauna is available and as it is a fascinating tourist destination, there are many incredible photos opportunities. An underwater camera is an excellent idea. Referred to by tourists as the charming islands (Islas Encantadas) Puerto Ayora in the Santa Cruz Island is the island with the most tourist movement and the capital, Puerto Baquerizo Moreno in on the San Cristobal Island. Enjoy excursions on the islands by foot or hire a Kayak to reach places that are inaccessible by any other means and discover islets, beaches and rocks...
