Surfing around the world.

Around the entire world, there are several spots that could be considered windsurfing paradises. Some of the countries that offer fantastic surfing beaches for beginners and experimented surfers are Spain and Portugal in Europe, Barbados and Panama in the Caribbean Ocean, Morocco and Senegal in Africa; Brazil in South America and Indonesia and the Maldives in Asia. The countries mentioned before, on no account complete the vast list of thrilling surfing spots on our beloved planet, but at least exemplify what you can find out there if you are looking for a perfect surfing area.

Spain with its all kinds of wind conditions and warm climate, offers surfing opportunities for everybody all year long.

The Canary Islands offer perfect winds; especially Lanzarote, characterized by is changing geology and vegetation, going from smooth beaches to heavy reef breaks. The great food and local culture will give you an unforgettable experience. Besides, in the Canary Islands, you can go trekking, biking, while enjoying the natural sight.

Tarifa located on the southern coast of mainland Spain, is well-known for its winds and isolated beaches, such as Punta Paloma. Tarifa was a quiet village until the mid 1980Žs but later became a worldwide popular resort. The Los Lances beach, famous for its smooth brakes, is perfect for beginners and for improving and refining surfing skills and style.

Asturias with its 4km natural wild beach, with extraordinary sandbanks and reef and rocks, offers great conditions for experienced and beginner surfers. After a hectic sporting day, you can visit a “sidrería” and enjoy the apple cider offered in the traditional way.

Portugal is equipped with all-level surf camps and owns gorgeous sight-seeing. The best time of the year to enjoy Portuguese waves are usually at the end of winter; still you can enjoy surfing all year long. The Algarve coast is warm and heavenly beautiful, as it is a Natural Park protected by the government. Apart from its stunning beaches, visitors can appreciate the local culture which blends the ancient Moorish occupation with the present European civilization.

Barbados, a Coral island, which reefs stretches all around the coastline, provides perfect surfing conditions. The South Coast is perfect because from one end of the coast to the other, it changes considerably, what suites every surfer's tastes.

Panama has a wide range of fabulous surf breaks that include, beach breaks, hollow tubes, or long peelers, that accommodate to everybody styles. Panama has two main advantages, firstly, it is a virgin surfing area, and secondly, it is very safe, so you should not worry about getting mugged. Some of the best places for surfing in Panama are, Dumpers with a steep drop, big tube, and short ride that is dangerous for beginners. The Playa Malibu, which is the best spot in Panama for its good tubes and long rides. Playa Raya, where big manta rays and sting rays can be seen in the water, has waves that can get up to 5 to 6 meters high.

Taghazout in Central-Southern Morocco is one of the best surfing regions of the country. Taghazout is a well known surf destination for surfers for its easily accessible waves.

Senegal-N’gor-Dakar Surf camp is ideal for intermediate and advanced surfers, this country is recommend for surfers who are looking for a quiet place to stay, uncrowned line-up, beautiful waves and lot of sun. Senegal also has one of the best nightlife in Africa, and the locals are still warm towards strangers. Senegal is the perfect country to introduce you to the Western Africa culture, which offers a lot of possibilities to travelers in a wide range of landscapes.

Brazil is another fantastic country for surfing. Brazil Itacare waves are everyday breaking onto the shore and its beaches are so great and long that will totally immerse you in nature. Bahia is one of the best places in Brazil for surfing and tourism, home to some of the best waves of South America and to the richest cultural diversity.

Indonesia, the best paradise for surfing holidays, holds top accommodations. The Island of Gods, Bali, is home to perfect tube lefthanders point breaks, home to the best reef breaks of the world, with wonderful beaches and great local culture.

The Maldives Islands are famous all over the surfing world for the perfection of the waves and the tranquility reigning all over the archipelago. You will enjoy beautiful tropical landscapes in a friendly atmosphere.
