There will be two different types of events, the events during the preparation for the Expo and the events during the whole Expo duration. Events during the whole Expo duration may be classified into three main categories. Firstly, those organized by the Organizer, including the opening and closing ceremonies. Secondly, those organized by the participants, international organizations and corporations, and autonomous regions and municipalities. Finally, the events organized by other parties, such as media groups, companies specialized in design, advertising companies, etc.
The forums can also be classified into three main categories, summit forums, theme forums and public forums. Summit forums will host heads of government, international celebrities important business people and the like. Theme forums are going to be more technical and instructive and will be held at least once a month during the Expo Shanghai China. Public forums will be special forums intended to improve the contribution and understanding of the public. These forums will be held for a hundred times before and during the Expo.
